Welcome to
208 (North Leeds) Squadron Air Training Corps
Air Cadets is an organisation for young people aged 13 to 20. The aims of the organisation are to promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the RAF; provide training which will be useful in both service and civilian life and to foster the spirit of adventure and develop leadership and good citizenship.
Based in Oakwood, 208 (North Leeds) Squadron parades 40+ cadets twice a week. We have an active schedule of events and provide lots of opportunites to get involved in a wide variety of activities. The squadron is active in Flying and Gliding, Shooting, Adventure Training, Drill, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, and Sports among others.
Cadets also have the opportunity to apply for camps at RAF Stations in the UK and abroad, take part in activities such as shooting, parachuting, leadership and canoeing and to gain BTEC qualifications.
Why not come and try it for yourself?
